However, this poem has particularly remained in my memory and over a period of time, experiences have revealed and validated the powerful and timeless tenets embedded in its verses. At that stage the poem was just an academic challenge and it would be very unrealistic to expect that its true meaning and deep life philosophy would be comprehensible to a school student. ![]() The poem was first taught to us in school and I recall my father trying to explain the meaning to me, as a part of my English literature studies.
